The 3D printing process took just 16 hours, spread across three days, to reach a finished wall height of 2.2 meters. Compared to traditional construction methods, Cementos Argos reports a 30% reduction in build time, 20% less material consumption, and up to 30% less waste generation.

By incorporating calcined clay as a partial substitute for standard cement constituents, the team lowered the material’s carbon footprint without compromising structural performance.

The parallel with La Unión is direct: both projects were driven by documented infrastructure gaps that conventional construction methods cannot quickly or affordably close.
